About Us

Hi! I’m Elizabeth (Lizzie) Stier, and I founded Kid in a Candy Store (Community Edition) in 2021 because possibly the only feeling better than being a kid in a candy store, is being a kid who helps or recognizes other kids in need.

Thank you to our friends and family who have supported me over the past three years as we supported Supplies for Success, Children’s Medical Fund, and UJA Federation, The Ethan Falkowitz Foundation, and The Drew Hassenbein Foundation. Together we have raised over $30,000 and it is incredible to see the difference that we are making!

This year, as part of my Bat Mitzvah project, proceeds will be donated to support the families of the survivors of the October 7, 2023 in Israel. We have all been deeply impacted by the journeys of these survivors, as hostages and as survivors of the massacre. Your contributions will support the families and their communities.
